Satin finish

This is accomplished with different grains of polishing materials, the end result must be perfectly alinged, or perfectly vertical to the base side – depending on how it was originally – and must have the same size or grain, as the original factory finish.

Radial satin finish

Typically this is the finish on the Rolex Explorer II bezel and on some 1970`s sport watches, the surface must be perclty straight and flat, and the grain lines must be straight, and aligned as if they were originating from one center point.
When seailing with a Rolex bezel, the bezel edge must also be mirror beveled
